What happened to the last 5 months??.... OK OK Keep your pants on.... I'll bring you up to speed... Your Welcome!

Yes it has been 5 months, give or take, since the last time I got on this Le Blog to get my ramble on! Well I'm here today to play a little Catch Up.

So here goes nothing:

February.... Shitty

Nate had a heart attack. Not a clench your chest call the ambulance kind but more like "Meg its hard to breath. Google heart attack symptoms." It was a very very random event that took place and sometimes its still hard to believe that it happened. Nate was having a hard time breathing and started to complain of discomfort in his jaw.  It was at that time after just reading the symptoms of a heart attack on WebMd that I calmly demanded that Nate put on clothes and GET IN THE CAR!!!! After three very long weird/scary/tiresome days Nate was released from the hospital and sent home. Adjusting back to normal day to day was difficult but after a couple of weeks things began to "normal out." Enter in March.

March.... Busy

March's calender made me want to crawl up under my bed with a bottle of wine and not come out until April (okay maybe a case of wine).

This month included
1. A Fun. Concert in Orlando
2. Bach Weekend for Christina in Charlotte, NC on St. Patties (Green Ridiculousness to the face)
3. Class two times a week EVERY WEEK
and
4. A Stock The Boat Party. Bring on the booze!

I'll let the pics do the talking....

April.... Nate-less

This month was pretty easy breezy beautiful for me, however Nate was out of town for TWO WHOLE WEEKENDS.... what. am. I. to. do?
Nate attended two Bachelor parties in this month. One in Islamorada and the other in Virginia Beach. During that time I was able to indulge in a little "Me" time. Which included but was not limited to ... massages, sushi dinner with all my old buddies, sleepovers with the bride to be, family time by the pool, bike rides with my Annie and boat races.
All in all this was a pretty chill month!

May.... Hold the Phone Kids I got a degree!!

Yes you heard right after 9 very long/weird/lazy/non-motivated/got-motivated/busy years I earned my AA degree!! Whoop Whoop! So as they say you gotta "keep on keepin on"... and that's exactly what I did! Mostly this month consisted of wedding prep for our friends Steven and Christina, and when I say wedding prep I mean counting down the days until we were in the Keys celebrating. Those two love birdies did EVERYTHING talk about DIY... if Martha Stewart had an award show these two crazies would take the cake. Their wedding took place Memorial Day weekend in Islamorada and it was a BLAST!
Congrats to them!

June.... Mini Vacay and more Weddings

June was great! I got a week off to go play with Nate in Orlando while he attended a Engineering Conference at the Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I got to lay out and read the ever so popular Fifty Shades of Grey Books! Much needed down time! After which we flew up to DC where we got to play in the city and attend one of the best weddings I have ever been to! Mental note: do not slack on the DJ! Nate was also offered a job this month. Saving those deets for July.

July .... Independence Day Celebrations and the time my whole life changed!

First off Congrats to my babe for getting a great job! We have had to make some adjustments..like..Nate no longer lives with me. Monday through Thursday Nate lives in Orlando. He is currently "getting to know" his new firm and some of his coworkers while he lives there. The plan is to have him open an office down south but that is not for a few months! So he is currently working (bless his heart) four ten hour days and traveling home on Thursday nights to be with me on the weekends. I'll be honest the first couple of weeks were hard but I am adjusting just fine now. (it has been a month) Also this month we attended for the second time the Papa Look Alike Contest ... It again was a BLAST. I have met some of the most generous kindhearted people on this trip.... oh and Paula Deen! The month of July ended with me, Megan Leigh participating in my first ever Triathlon. Holy shiitake mushrooms it was so great! I got to race with my best-est of friends. I cannot wait for the next one!

So now here we are all caught up! I wont make any promises as I hate telling lies but I hope to pay more attention to this here blog and keep my friends and family updated on our lives!

I hope everyone has enjoyed my little recap! Happy weekend!

PS ... I ALSO got into the University of Florida!
