Poor Pups and Movie Marathons!

11 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS! HOLY St Nicholas!!

Good Morning! I would like to start by saying THANK GOODNESS we finally figured out how to operate Blogger. I made quite the mess of this here blog yesterday and ended up erasing EVERYTHING. But I am very pleased with it's turn out and I am ready to BLOG away!

So its Wednesday. Usually Wills and I leave work and head 30 min south to play Kickball! Today however our game is canceled which is OKAY by me! See last night was a rough night for the newest member of our Jungle. Turns out Dakota our black lab puppy has a urinary track infection. Poor Pup moaned all night. Mr Wills being the best puppy dad ever stayed with Kota and took her to see the Dr this A.M. After some special Antibiotics and a Penicillin shot, Dakota should be feeling better in no time. But her puppy ma and pa need some down time!!!

Hello mid week Christmas Movie Marathon!!! We recorded what seems like the best of the best in Christmas movies... if I am not in the spirit now (which I secretly am not) then this Christmas flick marathon should do the trick!

On top of that I am pleased to announce that Wills and I have finalized our Christmas Cards! See Below! Using shutterfly (which by the way is AWESOME) I was able to easily upload my fav pics of MY MONKEYS AND ME!

I hope everyone has a Great Wednesday! I am looking forward to a nap!

Hey there Ladies and Gents, allow me to introduce myself!

Hi its Megan, Nates girlfriend (the gal holding the dog to the right) I am so excited to have this blog! Thanks Natey for taking the time to get this bad boy rolling. I have wanted this blog to happen for a loooong time and for many reasons! One being that I am huge fan of so many blogs that I just feel like if I like it so much then I should be doing it. I also have a lot going on in this head of mine and I guess it would be nice to let everyone in! Right now Nate and I are getting ready to host our very first Christmas dinner in our new home! (FREAKING OUT) Both of our family's are coming together on Christmas day to celebrate! Okay so I have never made a turkey or stuffing and don't really know how to prepare a dinner for 8 - 10 peeps, but it will be fine.... please oh please oh please!

In all honesty I know everything will work out! I am one lucky gal to have two ladies that are pro's in the kitchen. Thanks ahead of time mom and Mrs. Wills! Lets talk about the menu! This is what it looks like so far!

1. Turkey
2. Ham
3. Stuffing
4. Squash Casserole
5. Sweet Potato Spinach Bake
6. Shmashed Taters (Just for you Wills)
7. ????
8.????
9. I can do this!

I believe we are off to a good start.... Now that we are in the final weeks before the holiday I plan to kick into gear! Hello Pinterest and Foodgawker!

In the meantime we have a pretty eventful weekend in store! Our friend is hosting her annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party which I will be decked out in the most horrific outfit I can pull together and will dress my Nate in something as equally offensively festive! But not before attending Nate's Work Holiday Party Saturday afternoon! It will be a busy weekend but I am mentally preparing myself by having a relaxing uneventful week at home. I am starting to get the hang of the low key life!

Thats all for now Folks! Happy Monday

Starting out.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the first post in what we hope will be many.  This is Nate, Megan's Boyfriend, and I'm here to get you caught up. In the last year the following has occurred.

Megan and I started dating. After a rough start and a few hurdles we got together. After 7-8 months of dating I tried to buy a house and ended my lease.  The house fell through and we were forced to move in with her parents. Three months after that we closed on our current house. Two months later we got a puppy. During all this time we've been to multiple weddings, the keys, and San Francisco.

We are still learning how to have a house and a puppy and maintain some semblance of a life. On top of the puppy, Megan has started school again and is very close to graduating...whoo hoo.  All in all life is good, a bit of a whirlwind but great!
