What a weekend! I am so thankful this morning! Nate and I are seriously blessed with a great group of friends. This was the kind of weekend that doesn't happen all the time, the kind of weekend you hope every weekend can mimic. (aside from the terrible hangover I experienced Saturday morning.) Let me break it down!
Friday: Steven and Christina, our nearest and dearest friends in the Fort picked us up and we headed to downtown Ft Pierce. We started our night at Yellow Tail. After a few beers we met with some friends and then made our way to a new spot, Ft Pierce Frozen Yogurt. After having hot dogs, soft serve ice cream and beer we headed to On the Edge. LOVE THAT PLACE! The Edge is very lively .... we always go home with stories! There was a Wendy's Pit stop and then home. Thank you Steven and Christina (aka Miss Daisy) for such a great evening!

Saturday: ROUGH start... Yours Truly was in a bad bad way... in fact I don't think I am going to go into too much detail! Moving on! So in my last post I said I had some tricks up my sleeve for Mr. Wills! With the help of some friends we were able to get a group of us together for a BIRTHDAY BEACH BAR BIKE CRAWL. Starting at a local hot spot, Archie's we all met and surprised Natey! We had quite the gang! Even my mom and pop came to celebrate! It was a beautiful day...I really had such a great time with everyone! The path route was to start at Archie's, then ride to On the Edge, then head over the bridge to Buck Shot Bay. We were to then ride back over the bridge and back to Archie's. Plans changed a little bit! Once the sun went down the trip back over the bridge wasn't too appealing so a few of us got the cars and loaded the bikes. THE END ....................NOT!!!

| Birthday Cake Photo Bomb @ Buck Shot Bay After loading our bikes we all decided to pile into Stevens Car (7 deep) and made our way to Downtown Vero. After the 30 minute car ride that consisted of 7 adults singing along to Top 90's hits and gangsta rap we made it to The Kilted Mermaid. If you live in the area and haven't been there then I suggest you make yourself a plan to get there. So cool! They specialize in fondue (fondont?) cheese/desert and always have live music! I have been there 3 times and have had a blast every time! After a round or two (Don't worry mom and dad, family and friends. I stopped drinking and was DD) we went to Stamp Bar another Kick Ass hidden treasure in Vero. Why do they have all the awesome bars??? Come on Ft Pierce get yo shiat together! Make sure you check out the video below: Last Call and Birthday Boy Speech. Sunday morning I felt like a million bucks! Our morning consisted of cleaning and napping. Pretty low key. It was another beautiful day so we got ourselves dressed and took Dakota to the beach. This was her first beach experience. See the pictures below. Our Beach Pup:  |

We ended our night with a a little birthday dinner. Stone Crab, baked potato, and veggies. I for one think My Birthday boy is a Happy Camper. Being that today is his Official Birthday ... I just want to say, I have truly met my match. I thank my lucky stars daily that we were brought together. He is my best friend and the Monkey I will love forever.
